Honey Face Mask

If you are using a honey face mask for your skin, you will know that it is great and you can be 100% sure it sure is! There are of course many benefits when it comes to using honey face mask. It has in fact, been used as a great remedy for beautiful skin since ancient times.


The Greeks are first to know its benefits and have been using them during the time of their civilization. Besides, modern scientists have also conducted numerous researches which have shown that honey has certain properties that are indeed valuable for healthy skin.

So, what are the benefits of honey towards skin? Honey contains natural anti-bacterial; anti-fungal properties that can protect the skin from infections. It also has natural sun block property that is great for filtering the harmful ultra-violet rays from the sun. Besides, it also contains various vitamins, enzymes as well as amino acids that are excellent nutrient for skin health keeping the skin moisturized, supple and smooth.

But how do you actually make a honey face mask? While honey is an excellent and a very versatile ingredient, it is suitable for all types of skins for all sorts of people ranging from young teenagers with acne to elder people who have struggling with skin issues such as blemishes, wrinkles and spots due to the natural old age aging process. Honey face mask is extremely useful for these purposes.

And of course honey can be combined with other ingredients to suit your particular facial condition needs. For instance, if your skin is acne prone, mixing about half a spoonful of cinnamon powder with two tablespoon of honey can be helpful. Use it three times a week and you shall see great improvement results after several use.

For dry skin on the other hand, avocado mask is best. Get a ripe avocado and slice it in half. Get the half of it and mix with a tablespoon of honey. Then add the egg yolk of an egg and stir well. This avocado facial mask is excellent to moisturize dry peeling skin.

As for sensitive skins on the other hand, oatmeal face masks can help. All you need is honey, a mashed banana, and half a cup of full cream milk and some oatmeal. Mix and blend them well together to form paste. Apply to your face for full nourishment.
